What's your wedding style?

Pick a few pictures you like and we will name your style and give you five colors to start from. About a minute, no account, and nothing is sent anywhere.

When are you getting married?

A season is enough. It chooses the flowers and the shades.

Start from something you already love (optional)

A photo of a venue, a dress, a ring or a flower. It is read on your device and never uploaded.

We never ask about vendors, budget, guests or where you live.

About the flowers and the names

  • The color names are ours, each given with its plain hex code.
  • Flowers in season are a guide written for this page and checked by hand.

The eight styles the quiz can give

Every result is one of these eight, or "Natural and simple" if you would rather have no theme. Each has a palette for every season, so the result fits the time of year you are marrying.

How to make a wedding mood board

  1. Start with one thing you love. A season, a color, a photo of the venue or a dress, or nothing yet.

  2. Pick a few pictures. Three short rounds of pictures. Choose two to four in each, and the quiz names your style.

  3. Check your five colors. A main color, an accent, a neutral, greenery and a metal, each with our name and a hex code.

  4. Change what you like. Lock the colors you love, shuffle the rest, and make any of them lighter or darker.

  5. Build the board. Your style, colors, flowers in season and the pictures you picked, on one page. Download it as an image or a PDF to show a florist or stationer.

A board does not need a hundred photos. Five colors, a handful of pictures and the flowers in season are enough for a florist or a stationer to start from. Add real samples of fabric and paper before you buy: colors look different on every screen.

Frequently asked questions

How does the wedding style quiz work?
You pick a season, then choose a few pictures in three short rounds. Each round leans on what you picked in the last. You get a two-word style, five named colors and a board. It takes about a minute.
Is the quiz free, and do I need an account?
It is free and needs no account. Your picks are saved in your browser. Create a free account and your palettes are kept with your wedding and shared with your partner.
Can my partner take it too?
Yes. Copy the link for your partner. They take the quiz on their own phone, and you both see what you agree on, plus a blend of the two palettes. Neither of you wins.
Can I make a palette from a photo?
Yes. Choose Start from a photo, and we read the colors on your device. The photo is never uploaded.
What if we do not want a theme?
Choose No theme at all. Natural and simple, with whites, greens and natural wood, is a real answer.
Will you show me vendors or ads?
No. We never ask about vendors, budget, guests or where you live, and there are no ads or featured listings.
Will the colors look the same on paper?
Not exactly. Colors look different on every screen. Check real samples of fabric, paper and flowers before you buy, and send your florist the hex codes as a guide only.
Does the palette carry on to my invitations and RSVP page?
Mark a palette as ours and it is saved with your wedding. We are working on using it for your stationery and RSVP page.
